4th Gen Fender Braces

We are now offering fender braces for the 4th gen maxima.

Price is $150 shipped to new customers, and $130 shipped to existing customers.

These will be powdercoated black.

These braces strengthen the area from the strut mount to chassis itself, much like a Strut tower brace only without cluttering up the engine bay, and can be used in conjunction with strut tower bracing.

These are bolt in application with two holes that need to be drilled is all. We supply all hardware needed for install.

Please allow up to two business weeks for delivery.

Our paypal address is truaxmotorsports@gmail.com

Thanks,

The TMS Team

I've been waiting for someone to make a fender brace for quite some time. Leave it to Truax—you guys are doing great things for the Maxima community!

Looks like an easy mod. I wish you could extend the front mount point forward to the chassis seam at the front end of the strut tower. To straddle that seam would help bracing, but it would probably complicate the design too much. I do like the fact that you have the vertical piece at the back, many fender braces for other cars don't have that.

So how much do they weigh?

When I made these the front mounting point was critical. In that I had to be able to sandwich the thin sheet metal with some flat stock and by making the mount point where it is, I believe eases the install factor big time.

They shouldn't weigh any more than 10-15lbs per set.

I'm so on board for a set of these. And 130 is not bad at all. Once again...I gotta thank Truax for making stuff we wish we had for our cars for an awesome price

The fender braces have taken a short halt. I will update when they are fully ready and I am satisfied with fit and install.
