Nope. But we've sold tons of SSVs for the Z & G and never had any complaints. Of course the i-net peanut gallery always chime in and some say it doesn't make as much power as other aftermarket intakes. While that may be true the SSV DOES make more HP & TQ than the OE intake on the Z & G and is absolutely the hottest looking intake on the market. I assume the same is true for the Altima / Maxima intake.

Thanks,
Noah

On what basis are you determining this?

Based on customer feedback. I'll see if any of my customer's have a dyno of a 350Z with just an SSV to show the increase. Problem is not many people are willing to spend money on dyno time just to see the increase the SSV made. Most of the dyno's we've seen include FI (turbo, twin turbo, super charger) & the SSV, but nothing just base car versus SSV car.

However as I mentioned ALL my customer's who purchased the SSV rave about the increase power, sound and looks.

potential solution for this problem.. since this seems to be a big issue holding people back from buying this kinetix intake manifold, i think it would be a very wise investment for any vendor selling this IM to offer to pay for the before/after dyno for one customer and post the results in the group deal thread... that way all the potential customers are happy with seeing some dyno results from another source, and the vendors are happy because they stand a good chance for more business if people can see there are some real HP gains... just my .02

But we don't drive 350z's, so what good will a dyno from them do?

Only good is to show the gains from the SSV on a VQ35 engine. Not apples for apples but it will answer the original question of whether the SSV makes power (and it does....).

I have a 02 Maxima that just bought the SSV. I'll contact him and see if he plans on getting the car dynoed. At a minimum I'll see if he will post up his experience with it.

Thanks,
Noah

Okay here is a brief explanation of how the world works. All manufacturers have what is called MAP or Minimum Advertised Pricing. While many companies ignore the MAP and post up prices they shouldn't, we follow manufacturers policies. Therefore if you must have a price posted it's $839.99 + shipping because that is MAP on the SSV.

Again others apparently don't care about MAP but we like to keep good relationships with our manufacturers. So for best pricing please PM me. Is that really something shady or difficult to do?

Additionally it is very poor forum etiquette to post a competitors price in someone elses post......

Thanks,
Noah

No need to talk down to those who may be your future customers, but since you've been here all of five minutes I'll explain how the .org works.

First off, there have been some big time GD scams in the past where scammers got off with thousands so you have to understand people's skepticism when dealing with new vendors.

Secondly, your dubious claims in this post reflect poorly on you and your company. "Our customers feel" it is not proof the intake makes power. A "butt dyno" isn't sufficient to back up your claims. Your reference to anyone looking for real, hard data (which as of yet has not been produced by anyone for this intake aside from Kinetix) as a member of the "i-net peanut gallery" again makes you look unprofessional.

Let me be clear that I am not bashing this product, I agree it looks great but the NA gains have yet to be quantified and until they are you do us all a disservice by making vague claims that it increases HP/TQ.

Lastly, you would do yourself a favor by not calling out other, more respected and established vendors regardless of what someone posted in your thread.

I honestly wish you the best of luck in your business, even if I don't believe you've made the best first impression here at Maxima.org.

Let me just say we don't make the SSVs we only sell them. We sell a lot of products by many different manufacturers but we are not manufacturers ourselves. We can only supply information based on the manufacturers and customers feedback.

We mentioned feedback from customers not to mislead, be vague or anything else it was just to relay the feedback we have received. Most the time customers like direct feedback from folks who have purchased the products. Not sure why it came off wrong here.

I realize many folks have had bad experiences with vendors and I understand people's frustrations. This was why we started CAC in the first place. Unfortunately we have to overcome the mistakes of others.

All I can do is offer you guys great products at great prices and provide great service. I do apologize if anything came off wrong or was misleading in some way. I will use everyone's feeback to hopefully gain your respect, trust and business.

Thanks,
Noah

Thanks,
Noah

Personally, i don't see what the big deal is especially considering we have sellers posting shipped prices for their products and yet people still ask to be PM'd the price shipped to xxxxx.

Having had sold products myself in the past, there are certain restrictions from particular manufacturers when you start selling prices below MSRP. PM's aren't all that hard to do and you'll still get whatever price the seller is willing to offer the product for.

some even get better prices because of location. Pm isnt hard at all. i guess some people just feel cautioned because they might not be getting a better dealer versus the next person in line....

there are pros and cons though.

on the other hand, the Kinetix intake does looke awesome though. very shiny.

cattman said there were loss in power in their testing... im hoping the manufacturer can atleast back up their products and OFFICIALLY release real data on the manifolds.`
