I'm confused about what the D2S/D2R upgrade does. The $220 kit is all i would need for plug and play on a 2001 maxima? Thanks.

hi there, the D2S/R bulbs are for the people who already has factory hids, so they just made the upgrade for more kelvins.
Your car use H4, so the $220 is for the kits that has low beam only, no high beam, if you want to keep the high beam you can order the bixenon kit $315 shipped and you will have high and low beam with hids in the same bulb.

Okay i'm looking to get these by Christmas for sure. I drive a 1996 i30. I want the 6000ks hi/low and i want the yellow look for the fogs.(is300 look) What would i need to purchase to do this. And would this be an easy install for someone with 0 knowledge about headlights.

i have a 2k2 i want to replace my fog lights with hid i know fog lights bulbs are h3. what is a mini h3 is that for fog lights and does it comes with direction for install do i need to modify the casing of the fog lights so i can fit your bulb

Thanks Maximabest I just got my HID kit, but it's Not a Helios kit. The company name that's on the box says Xenon Storm????? I hope it still has the life time warranty.

Still a nice kit though...
