Hello again. The radiator on my 1989 Maxima GXE finally blew today. So, I have to actually get a new one. The JB Weld patch I put on the right corner held after I drilled through and filled the gap, but now it is cracking all along the top. So, I've been researching various types, prices, and sites. eBay seems to have good prices, some with a lifetime warranty for fairly cheap. I see others on radiator specialty sites for around $100+ some with dual core and all metal construction.
The reason I am writing about this is I wonder how the Koyo OEM replacement radiator for the 89-94 Maximas differs from the other ones out there. You already PM'd me about the prices and specs you have. The general core size I have seen on other sites is 15-3/4 x 27-1/8 x 15/16 inches. Some are thinner for a single core, around 5/8", but some are single core or dual core close to 1" thick. I wonder given the same thickness which performs better, the single or dual core? Also, what is the benefit of having all metal construction if both radiators have a lifetime warranty? And, finally what is the best material for the core to be made out of for best and longest lasting performance?
I know this may not be the right thread for these questions, but opportunity knocks. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks,
At the time of writing, this deal would only save me $3.30. Not much of a savings since the Koyo radiators for the '96 Maxima are already on sale for the public.

$3.30 is $3.30. Margins on parts are small, there is a lot of competition. Anyways, if you need any help or need a pricematch, etc...just let us know.
importrp,
I have a 2000 i30 and I was wondering if u had a rad in stock. Also, in the description I noticed it says its a brass and copper. But when I searched other online sources, they seem to have mainly aluminum/plastic, which leads me to believe that it is the intended product for our cars. No? Maybe? Which one is better?
