Hey Don,

I'm Noel.

I called last week because I was actually off last Thursday and Friday. I'll be off again next Friday, 12/29. Would you be available then?

Hey D-

Ok, I'll bite and spend some moolah. Do you have any current specials running for Alarms only? It's going on a Lincoln Navigator. Preesh!

2008 Maxima

Hi,
I am new to the forum and live in NJ. I have a 2008 Maxima - with the key fob , push button entry. Is there an aftermarket remote starter for this car. If so how much would that be and do you install it? What make is it? Also, how exactly does it work if the key fob is away from the car?
Thanks

Well Don now that I've gotten a little money I might be getting one of these from you very soon. Other than the one mile range with the RS50.5 and less wiring with the 3.3X LE. How do the two compare to each other.

Thats not a problem, I will be here.

In regards to differences, a little info can be found here:
http://forums.maxima.org/audio-elect...3x-inside.html

A few points as well though..

Smaller, lighter remote
Now includes two remotes (one is a one way)
Much longer battery life
Less drilling of holes for LED/Valet buttons
Smart start for high/low temps as well as voltage

Thanks for the info. I suppose I shall be calling you within the next week or so. I can count on you to find new ways to make me go broke. LOL. I might be interested in getting a headunit too while I'm at it...

No problem at all, call any time.

For the record making you 'go broke' doesnt make me rich either. You at least benefit with new toys in the end.

Whats up Don? I live up in North Jersey.. I'm just seeing if your group deal is still going on. I never saw this before so i'm interested I could use an alarm. I have a remote starter already installed as well and it is from the brand Valet. It's a cheap remote starter but it gets the job done. I want something that has the 1 mile range and the LCD remote as well. Any recommendations?

To have 1 Mile range and LCD the only option would be the 50.7 or the newer HD system which should be shipping in the next week or so. I have not yet updated pricing for the HD systems but will soon. It is quite a drastic jump in price though.

Also bear in mind - Any system claiming one mile range is not entirely realistic. Is the range more than enough for the majority of people ? Absolutely. Will you ever see a true full mile ? Not unless you live in the desert !

Is there a way to get the windows to roll up/down on a 2001 Max? Do I need aftermarket stuff to get it to go with an alarm?
