Jinsu -

I emailed you on saturday but didn't get a reply...I'll just copy & paste it here so you can answer it..

"Hey I just placed an order for a set of Ksport coilovers from you guys. If you can, please tell Ksport USA to give me 9kg/7kg custom spring rates. Please reply back if you are able to. I will be waiting for the tracking # too...thank you!"

one more question...this may sound retarted but the directions i got dont make sense...

how do u adjust ride hight, u just make the spring perch tight and leave it alone right? its go nothing to do with hight? id figure to adjust hight u adjust the lower nut and screw the mount up aor down right? if anyone can give clear directions its apriciated.

to adjust the height ,you use the bottom strut mount you trun it up or down the threaded strut body.....this way you still keep your preload you want, and also the your suspension travel.

can't u just loosen the lock-nut at the bottom then spin the whole shock body into the lower mount? that seems like a hassle to take off the nuts & bolts everytime u want to change ride height....as far as preload changing, ride height and preload should be two seperate things am I wrong? i.e. when you adjust your preload to be 0 or +1...it will stay that way until you loosen and adjust it manually

correct me if i am wrong

alot o people say you cannot spin the the shock body down but you must turn the bttom mount. i have not installed mine yet i am doing it this weekened so i do not have any personal experiance with it yet.

yes preload and ride height should be 2 seperate things....but not all coilovers have seperate adjustments....alot of the coilovers you addjust the height by moving the sprinf perch up and down a threaded peice that sits in the middle of the spring. Hence why ground controls have such a ****ty ride.

what about the camber angle, what does a zero setting look like? its the strut that should be at zero, not the little bolts right?

thats weird...since you have the coilovers off the car...why don't you try it for yourself? loosen the lock nut at the bottom and try to spin just the coilover and not the lower mount...see if it goes into the lower mount...if it doesn't than thats really a suprise....

my d2 coilovers are essentially the same thing as the ksports (as from what I hear)....but a big difference between the two, D2 uses two alan bolts to tighten the lower mount...the ksports use a single lock nut...i know for the D2s, then you loosen those alan bolts, the shock body is free to spin down into the lower mount...i'm wondering why this wouldn't apply to ksports as well...not sayin yer wrong here....but until I get my own ksports to find out wuts going on, I must leave room for arguement

well i got mine installed......the instal was very easy exept for one of the front strut mount bolts broke off. i have my front where the botto mount is at the the very bottom of the shock body. Is there any way it can go higher? right now i have crazy rubbing issues in the front. the backs are fine, i got alot of height out fo them.

i just want to say that i now have everythign aligned, and tightened and the car feels like a new car......the steering is so sharp and the ride is awsome compared to what i had on there which was s-techs and agx's. i am on 19's and the ride feels smooth as hell unless you hit a large hole......i just want to say that these were an awsome buy! i wil get pics up later.

Having an 05 Max I assume that i'd need an a34 kit. Also is that all taht I need to order and if I put them on right out of the box , will it lower the car? I just want a stiffer ride not a lower one.

Thanks
Chris

the kit is a direct swap for A34. The kit will lower the car about .5inch on default.
