correct....but the do have the skeleton for the added strengenth, and they also have rolled edges like most high quality hoods have (as opposed to a rough cut edge)

But on a side note from what I gatered from the guy he does get the VIS hoods at a good price but you still cant beat $300 shipped. I just would like to know what is if any difference between the VIS hoods and the $300 shipped hoods?

My redline hoos is a joke and I paid waaayyyyy to much for it. But their wasnt that big of a market when I got it. Their still isnt it seems.

yes $300 is an amazing price, more then worth it. I mean it would be nice to see the price go down, but then that is almost low enough to cut into production costs. Shipping for these things is like 100-150, and carbon fiber is not too cheap. I am actually wondering how the price is as low as it is now, hope it is a quality hood with decent UV protection.

I would just like to see the same price of $300 shipped in Jan. Thats all im hoping for. Im not at all complaining about the price or trying to get it lower. I just want it to be extended till the middle of january

Have no clue but whom ever started the thread said approx. $400 or so, it would be cool if this is shipped and had that "Evo" vent look, other than that if it was OEM type then I rather go with this deal for $300 shipped.

i do not question the quality of this hood because i can see it. you can clearly see in the pictures that the fitment is awesome on the hoods. (if you know what you are looking for). you will accually pay custom carbons directly i talk to them about this. when i get 5 people confirmed. but i did need 5 paid orders. they make the maxima hood in house. i to was shocked at the price you guys are gonna get on these thi
