They got mine, but apparently we still have to pay shipping. Now I have to either get another money order or give them my CC number.

Who told you that? If they're sticking to it, have them email me (overley@fastmail.fm) and explain why the terms have changed and why they haven't been returning my emails.

Mike told me. I thought that it was free shipping no matter what price the sensor was. Since my order came to be $38.21 it didn't qualify cause it was under $50, I guess. No biggie except now I have to send in another money order.

Noobie questions...

I plan on getting a ypipe. I have 151k and do not think that my O2 sensors have ever been replaced. I am a 1998 SE cali-spec. What sensors do I need? Do you suggest I replace both front and rear?

Ah. Well that's better then. Thanks for clarifying.

You don't HAVE to change them, at least not until you get codes. Some people change them all around when it's convenient (and when you're changing the Y, it certainly is because you already have to unhook them), others wait til they go. It all depends on your maintenance philosophy. You can go to the website and enter your car info. From that it'll tell you which kinds you need. You can pick whichever brands you want, and the universal ones take a bit more effort to install because they're not plug-and-play. Again it's up to you, they'll help you out with more specific questions.

if you have over 100000 miles on your max ,you might as well replace it, as they/it will eventually go bad. i have the same code. and i'm replacing all of them

Jatan. If you want I can probably sell you mine since the car is wrecked. One of them has 200 miles while the other has 5k miles.

I'll take those. You taking out your aftermarket y-pipe also or you're keep it for the next max? PM me about the O2s and y-pipe if you're selling it and if you have other stuff to sell.

Well I got mine a few days ago and installed it today. Everything was fine except that the round plastic piece and rubber boot that covers the hole under the car where the wire harness plugs into, was too small. I compared it to my OEM sensor that I replaced and it was much smaller.

Too bad that I didn't notice that until I had all of it installed except for that part. I just bought some weather strip adhesive and bonded the rubber boot to the bottom of the hole and then I put some silicone sealant around it to keep water out.

Hope it holds and I don't get another freakin SES light!

I emailed you. Here's what I wrote, for everyone else to see:

Go to www.oxygensensors.com and pick out the sensors you want (don't pay for them). Print out that paper, and mail the paper and money order for 85% of the order total on the printout, to that company. I can't promise this'll still work, but they haven't told me it's over. Remember to make it payable to "Auto Medic Supply or YOUR NAME". Go ahead and mail it to:

Auto Medic Supply
27500 Cumberland Rd.
Tehachapi, CA 93561 USA

Say you're with the Maxima deal.

Shipping is free as long as order after discount is over $50. Otherwise, add $5 to the total.

Did they tell me the discount only works for Walker? They told me originally that it works for all brands, so if they're changing things then we ought to post it. They did personally recommend the Walker sensors to me, and I wouldn't be afraid to use those, but it's up to you. Try on the 4th gen forum and see if anyone has any experience with those.

Yeah is this GD still on? Do we need to PM you budha?

I think I'm just gonna go ahead an replace all 3 since I'm approaching 131k soon.

BTW would O2 sensors cause lazy/laggy acceleration?

Thanks!

Hey guys. Sorry, I was out of the country for a mission trip for the last week. Yes, the deal is still going on. No, you don't need to pm me, but you can. See post 141 for directions on how to order them.

Vlad, that is totally up to you. Lot's of people replace them all at once. Others wait until they break. It's totally up to you. I like doing it all at once, but it's personal preference.

With your mileage, I would simply replace them all since you are replacing the fronts anyways.

What a great deal!!!! I just spoke with mike on the phone and he gave me 10% off by paying over the phone with a credit card ( i figured its gonna cost me almost 5 bucks for the money order and the shipping it out to him, plus i saved time!) anyway it was very pleasant dealing with him, and he even said he would ship them out today... THANK YOU for setting up this deal!!!!!

well how hard is it to take like 10 min of ur life and get a paypal account, i much rather spend 15% more on the O2's than having to worry about getting ripped off. sorry but it happened too many times and im not going through with it.
