hey maxmojo, I'm guessing this gd is closed, but do you think you could get some more of these in and get another gd going for us? And, off topic, but I was wondering what ever happened to the 95-96 Red/Clear gd? You were the one having them made, right? If you are, I'm still interested in them and would like to know about any progress made...

Only one person has tried an aftermarket remote, never get an update on the outcome and don't know his screen name.
Those wanting to send back remotes, please try your remotes some more. When I first programmed mine, it would only work 1/3 of the time.. As I used it more, it was more and more reliable.. Maybe it learns the functions?

Normally shipping takes 3-5 days, I have a tracking number but no access to it right now. Email me your Name and Zip code at sales@paradox-systems.com and I'll track it tonite.

Your option is to keep sending it back to me. It is very difficult to get it exact, that is why I have always said I can not guarantee the remote portion of the key. It is not meant to be done like this, shipping back and forth.
Have you tried the remote more than once? Keep trying it. And try all the buttons. When I programmed my own, there seemed to be a learning period. Only one button would work initially, then they all seemed to work over time.

letme check it out. THis thing is ****ing me the **** off. How do i program my key? is there switches inside of each remote? Where can i get a keyprogrammer or something? Im about to have to send it back to you and spend $20 ****ing dollars of shipping. Thats total of $52 fuking dollars on a ******* key. I wish this damn thing wasnt so complicated. I'll get back to you, try to go push every button and use the 4 letter word more.

The machine is very expensive. Not something I would remotely (no pun intended) consider lending out. I've always told people, you're paying for the key, not the remote. I offer that portion of the service for free, no matter how many times you wanna try. I don't know why you spend so much on shipping. It only costs me about $2 to send it out.

well **** thats what i need to do. Buy my own ****ing letters and spend #2 for shipping. How many different combinations are there? tell me where getting close, this is the 2nd time.. How many more we gotta go?
#189
You must understand how angry I am. Why do i always get ****ed like this? I always have the ******* unlucky part that doesnt work! I know its not your fault. How many different combinations can there be? Im prepared to send this mother ****er in as many times as it needs to be until it works. Btw, HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Its not a matter of combinations. There is a potentiometer that i adjust to match the frequency on your stock remote. I make sure it matches perfectly before closing but its an imperfect process.

As for getting it done elsewhere, as far as I know, from the manufacturer of the machine/key, I have the only machine in the US.

There are no different combinations or frequencies to keep track of. How it works is, I plug the new remote into the machine. I then place your remote onto the reader and press each button to program the functions. Then I take off the new remote and adjust a potentiometer to match the frequency from your stock remote.

It is supposed to be the same frequency. Problem is, our stock remotes jump between two numbers.. 433.5 and 434.0 to be exact. I always try to get it to be whatever one is showing up on you remote at the time but its not exact. Ideally you need the car there to test it.
