Highest Mileage 2016 Maxima
#4
No major repairs at all. 3 alternators and 8 sets of tires. Still get 28 mpg avg. I told the tech at Nissan my goal is to get it to 300k when I was at 120k. He said you’ll be on your 3rd transmission by then. Umm no. Now I just laugh at him.

that's pretty darn good, so any tips you can share for anyone out there on the CVT since usually I see a lot of cars with CVT don't make it past 150k miles. Since I'm sure you have done some kind of preventive maintenance on the CVT

250k out of any car these days is pretty good, congrats. Mine is not the highest mileage, 162k, but the previous owner had the transmission replaced at a dealership so I'm not too worried about that.
I've been reading that the cvt is likely to need attention before the engine, especially on V4 engines, is that right?

Injectors Repl @ 300k ( didn’t need to)
