Why do people paint there gas door black

Isn't the proper grammar "their" because the car belongs to you so it's a possession?

original gas door probably broke, they got a stock flat black replacement, and were too lazy to repaint it

LoL I don't know... Maybe they like a sore spot. Kinda like when you look at a beautiful girl with a nice face but all you can do it stare at a giant pimple on her nose or something...

I have been wondering about that too, maybe they painted it a different color to help remember which side the gas cap is on?

pimple on the nose is not a big deal...pimples elsewhere is the scary part.

i always thought they were too lazy to paint it the body color after getting another one at the dealer.
same with ppl who rock blank urethane bumpers and body kits.

These damn shops keep using cheap a$$ paint and living around a lot of contruction, it just gets chipped up pretty bad.

I do have a lifetime warranty on the paint but the shop is back in MA.
