have wheel locks but lost the key -_-

I was gonna start on my suspension today but can't find my wheel lock... Are there special tools for this, can a garage do this for me? I'm assuming a 12 point socket the impact wrench would help, anythin else? Thanks

you can get wheel lock removal kits at auto stores, they basically bite into the nut. wrecks the lugnut but it will get them off

Are the wheel locks factory or aftermarket?

If there Factory wheel locks most dealerships like mine have a kit of every wheel lock that was used per year and type of vehicle and just flips through them to find the right one and remove the wheel locks and then re install new wheel locks or regular lugs per the customer request.

I know we charge .3hrs of labor to do that which is around $26 bucks.

If you have aftermarket then you may get lucky with a 12 point or buy a kit.

solved

I forgot to reply but i just used a closely sized 12-point socket, hammered it on and used the ratchet with a little bar over it for leverage and it came off with little to no effort. never buying wheel locks

wow, I never seen a lock kit tool to get the wheel locks off, I heard some people had to get it broken off and get new nut along with studs.

I did this literally this past weekend. Dealer told me which key code I needed, and I just ordered it directly from McGard.
