Demoting the Maxima, looking at the Murano

Recent knee surgery has prompted me to look for a taller vehicle. I've considered the Ford MKS,MKX and MKZ the Infiniti EX35, M35, M45, the Mercedes Benz E350 and the Volvo XC90. They all have features I want but I've eliminated them one by one for whatever reason.

The final three that I'm stuck on are the Infiniti EX35, Volvo XC90, and the Nissan Murano LE or SL. Anyone here have any 1st hand knowledge on the Murano or Infiniti that you care to share. I like the fact that they're both Nissans, the Infiniti has the exact same engine and puts out almost 300hp compared to 265 for the Murano.

I really like the Infiniti but my wife feels that it will be too cramped for us on long trips. Both are AWD and I like the way they look, the Murano has more luxury features but I can overlook that for the 30+ hp gain I'd get.

I'm not looking to get a brand new vehicle maybe a 2010 or 2011 model with no more than 40k miles. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

Ex35 if you can afford it.

I would think a nicely equipped LE would be a good choice. I've found the rear seats of the EX35 to be nearly unusable. YMMV.
