When I passed the Chevron near my house this morning it was at 4.11 for premium...went to that on about Saturday so I'm sure it'll go up again before I head home.

$3.99 for 93 octane today. Glad I have a 6 speed car now, getting 2-3 mpg better than my 4AT 5.5 gen was. Took 75 miles today (85% freeway) to move the needle off the full mark after filling up.

Looks like we're catching up with Hawaii prices.....I lived on The Big Island (94-97) and gas was $2.00/gal then while it was $.99 on the Mainland! Looks like the pricing is a lot closer these days as the bull$hit thickens....I saw Shell 93 Octane for $4.09 yesterday...We'll never see sub $1 price ever again.....

Petrol Prices

Paid 3.79 USD for 100% gasoline today. Few stations have that still. Used to travel a lot in US and noticed that the closer I get to a major river (like Miss) or the coast, the gas gets somewhat cheaper. Anyone else noticed that? Figures it has to do with transportation and maybe taxes.

Honestly since Osama died I thought prices would go lower. Guess that was a failed thought. Rose from 3.97 last week to 4.12 for Regular.

Ouch! And the rest of the .orgers on here are complaining and whining at their $3.xx/gallon prices.

We are at $4.29/gallon for the cheap 87 octane stuff here in Hilo.

I think it probably has more to do with the government questioning gas exec over the the recent price hikes in gas. Saw 3.92 this morning. Even heard about a price gouging legal case in ky

During the recent Tsunami threat here back in March, I had several FB posts that some stations in Hawaii were charging as high as $7/gal for REGULAR..

How's that for price gouging?!!?? Business ethics thrown out the window..

8/1/11 Here in USA-eastern TN currently the price is 3.55 for reg with eth and 3.65 for 100% gas. Filled up the other day almost 70.00 (prem). Diesel is outrageous. Over 4.70. Everyone complains about prices goin up on food, etc. They forget that almost everything is shipped in one way or another using diesel. The freight companies and distributors aren't just gonna absorb that so who ends up footing the bill?
