Yep, and there was an enthusiast named Andi, who was getting his masters degree at age 18. I remember he went on to a Supra Turbo, but went well on to much nicer cars after that. What I find interesting is that it seems the Maxima peaked with the 4th gen, if you look at the number of posts, etc.

When I see a new Maxima today, sorry, but I have no interest in the car in any way, and it seems to be the furthest away from a 4DSC that a Maxima has ever been!

Wow, I remember those names, except Ewok! For its time, the 4th gen Maxima was a really nice car. After nearly 13 years on the road, one can really see how well built in Japan it was. But in the early days, I liked to complain a lot when little things broke....LOL

Duke revived it somewhat with MN, later renamed NissanX. Went well for a while but eventually tanked. I'm surprised he even still has the domain up.
it looks familiar. im trying to remember what it looked like in the back of my mind.

Aug. of 2001 checking in.

I had a '98 Maxima that most of the NE'ers know it was cursed. Took hit after hit, and still kept going. Took the thing to NH nearly every week and beat the crap out of it on the 1/4 mile, took everything like a champ.

Traded it off for a Ford Focus in 2005. I'm now back in the Nissan family with a 2009 Altima 2.5S.

I remember meets with 98SEBlackMax, DaBoxSE, erty67, MaxedOut, and the rest of the MA/RI clan. I believe my legacy lives on with the Kelly's meets (it was either myself or Clark that started those, can't exactly remember - correct me if I'm wrong)

I remember when he swapped the S/C for a Turbo, he was one of the very first to turbo his max, he was such a pioneer in the max community. It's good to know that my memory still serve me well.

Didn't I know you before sept 2k? Like when was it that we broke Sherrif's Stillen intake mounting bolt? And when did we strip his left rear lower strut mount bolt?

OG here. On the .org before it was the .org. I started around February of 1996, back when Eben was organizing the D.C. meets at his house.

LOL, I remember when he asked to put that sticker on my car. It was at a Stillen Meet. As soon as we finished slapping it on my window, someone wanted to show us his chrome door handles wrapped with electrical tape.
