Xylon Experiences
I didn't see any thread specifically on this topic. My dealer is trying to get me to purchase the Xylon coating for my 2009 Maxima. He says their selling it "at cost" for about $400.
Is this actually thought to be something of real value? I hold my cars a long time (had the last one nearly 10 years). Or is it something like underbody / antirust, extended warranties and other thing generally thought not to be necessary?

depends on where you are from. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...&aq=f&oq=&aqi= .
claims to be good at fighting corrosion, which may be helpful if you live in the snow belt, not so much in areas that the roads get salted all the time.

Thats funny because the International Society of Spammers was founded on September 26, 1953 in this thread. It intends to spam the forums amongst its peers in order to mislead and aggravate others and give people bad experiences and information.
