What are the sources of these FSM's?

Do you happen to have a physical 95 FSM?

I could use one.

Just making sure nissan is ok with it.

A physical book would be good, so i dont have to stare at a screen for hrs at a time, like i already do.

Seriously...myspace....?

You do not mix automotive and poorly scripted social network pages together, ever, period. I'd much rather have an index page aimed at auto enthusiasts than a 16 year old she-him who can't decide on the color of eye shadow to wear and is torn by letting the world know if they are smitten or quixotic...

I think it mentions something about any reproduction of any kind in any format is illegal, but I might be wrong. Hopefully the man doesn't come beating down his door because I've used those fsm's several times a week for months, I'd be fubared without them.

Thanks pmohr. Would it be asking too much to include the FSM cover too?

Cover?

I'm also working on modifying pdf2html, so I can put the FSM up for completely online viewing. The current one doesn't work all that great, so all the more coding for me.

The front cover of the FSM.

If one had a genuine, hard copy, Nissan Maxima FSM, it would be bound, right? It would have a front and back cover (and a spine). I have a '96 FSM and it has a black cover. I think all 4th gen years have black covers. The FSM doesn't start with the index page, it has a cover. It would be nice to be able to print out the electronic copy of the FSM(s) that you provided but I'd like to have a cover to place at the front. Not a big deal, I just thought it would be nice.

Yeah, because printing out a FULL page of black ink with a little bit of white writing really makes sense. People should/could make their own "cover" in Word in 20 seconds and save a ton of ink.....

Great work Pmohr!!

EDIT: (and don't say you'd print it out at work Ptatohed....LOL)

Yea, Nissan never made a 'cover' page for the electronic FSMs, no real need. I wouldn't either, just one more page you have to go through before getting to what you need to know.

Updated, '09 FSMs added as well as lengthened out the naming convention explanations a bit, but since they change so much you really should view fwd.pdf for the newer ones.

'09 FSMs should finish uploading in a few hours.

Oh my God! Someone sticky this!!!!

Haha great work, I am never going to even open my passenger compartment to look for my manual again. In fact I am going to throw that piece of unread educational material out right now

Oh and concerning the legal issue, I think all Pmohr needs to do is cite his sources and things will be fine. It worked for a college paper that I BSed, why not service manuals eh? hahahah!

These FSM's have helped me out so much over the last year I sleep with a hard copy of the 97 and 01 FSM with me under my pillow at night.

This link is working as of now:
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/maxima/

Just FYI, the folder named "2000" is actually for the european version, Maxima QX, which is the I30. For the 2000 model use the files in folder named "2000.5 Maxima".
