How about when you're leaving the auto parts store and two other guys parked beside you and as they get in you start your car and they just gawk till you roll away.

how about you know your driving a VQ when its like 22 degrees out side and you still have the window down so you can hear your cars exhaust....

or you know your driving a VQ when you look for a parking garage because you know your cars gonna sound so awesome cruising through it! and then even though the speed limit is only 5...you still floor it.

HOMICIDE HARTFORD VQ

you know u are driving a VQ when you never and still don't care what VTEC is/does!

You know you are a VQ when you are parked next to a 2009 bmw/lex/or benz
and the lil kids in the hood point to the Max and yell "That's my car!!!!!"

you know u are drivin' a VQ when in 2009 a stock 4th gen is still considered a "FAST CAR" in the hood!

Your logic is plain stupid. Yea the VQ is great, but there has to be a point when self control takes over......

You know you're driving a VQ when you have silence until you hit 2700 rpm, then the most glorious roar ever until redline... and uncontrollable giggling from the back seat, where your 5 year old is going nuts-he loves the sound of motors.

It is a fun thread. Don't get me wrong, I love my VQ. But with any car, when you have that many tickets, I just don't get it.

You're rolling along at 25mph, bone stock except for the GAB mod, and pull around a civic who's owner clearly takes a lot of pride in his car. As you're accelerating(just moderate acceleration), your car (with it's GAB mod) growls beautifully. The civic owner (unbeknownst to you) feels threatened by your sweet sounding car and revs his own car. He clearly has many more mods than you, including exhaust (probably full exhaust). Side by side, you turn to look at him and he guns it and takes off... you decide to teach him some humility and gun your own car and still beat him to 60mph, even though he had a huge headstart I love my maxima...

You know you drive a VQ when the only thing you say when people ask about your car is that it has the same engine as the 350z.

You know you drive a VQ when your throttle body valve goes out of alignment because you stared at it too hard.
