QFT. Couple of guys that are out driving when I take my break at night seem to always want to rev their engines and take a go at it. I used to think the Honda J30 V6 in my mom's Accord was the best V6 ever - VTEC, 3.0L 240HP on regular, integrated manifolds, smooth as butter... until I got my Maxima with the VQ30DE. It's just as refined but sounds much more soulful when you wring it out. It idles smoother and doesn't knock like the Accord does over 4k rpm (consequence of regular gas?). Torquier too. This engine was way ahead of its time.
