Ok, hello all. Im new to this forum and appreciate It. My question Is, eairlier today I was reading thru a haynes repair manuel. Sure enough, I find myself looking at the throttle body. I noticed the fast idle cam adjustment was way off on my car compared 2 the pic in the manuel, even though my car ran fine before. Trying to adjust It, a screw I had to loosten I stripped and now the coil tension spring Is loose. I notice a plunge like thing under the TB, and on the parkway I now have hesitation and It comes and goes, Can someone PLEASE help. Thanks

Also, do I even need that plunge like thing, like Is that why Im experieancing power surges etc. Hoping someone can advise me on how to fix what Ive done. Thanks 4th gen, 1998 maxima se 5 speed
