Haha I have a MEVI, and still need to get a VAFC. I have had it since September tho...I really need to stop procrastinating.
lol, i remeber seeing you buying all of these other mods and now you say you have been wanting a VAFC II, i just find that funny because I knew what I wanted/needed to make my swap dominant and I got it before I got the 00VI then I got the 00VI 2 days later. (both on ebay and the guy with the VAFC is being an *** and claims he has shipped it when ups trackign number has no record of the item being recieved by them, so I may need to buy another one since this guys being a PIA)
Are you the person my brother (euRo) met at mcdonalds one night with his friend? I remeber him telling me he met someone there and he had a modded maxima as well, i just saw you were wrentham so that would make some sense.

Yeah that's me. He honestly scared the sh!t out of me that night because the way he said "Who has the black Maxima?!" made me think someone just hit it. But yeah, I read that you finally decided to go with a Cattman exhaust, and that you got a ticket for it. And I saw your pics in the other post today...your car is looking really good. If you want a hand anytime just let me know, im only 10 mins away.

have you tried there tool rental
if the one they have is to small just buy one, i think its like $20.00
I went back to verify that they didn't have any others to buy or rent
I also tried Shucks and Napa.
Hopefully I have more luck tomorrow when I can call around and the specialty stores are open. Otherwise it's about $50 from amazon, or I'll try to find one to borrow.

- breaking down engine ( removed radiator, battery, hood, disconnected wiring harness, removed UIM, fuel rail, LIM and unbolt headers and took them off the DE. Removed underbody, did some cleaning under the engine on the mounts and supports.
cleaned my work area, and then started pulling parts off the DE-K removing wiring, removed exhaust manifolds, cleaned that engine a bit.
today removed vacuum hose brackets, removed knock sensor, cleaned more around the car, and probably the craziest thing i did was to stare at the engine bay area for about 30 mins trying to figure out how to relocate my drycell battery and run a custom cold intake setup with the filter mounted right behind the fog light hole.
i just miserably failed at trying to change the after-cat oxygen sensor. completely stripped. awesome! i dont know why i was doing it at 2am... while its snowing....

Literally gave my bumper a facelift, it was sagging down a little bit
And had some fun with masking tape on the car.
Oh yeah and bought an aluminum race jack and aluminum jack stand set from pep boys for 99 dollars since it was the display set. It was originally like 140 something.
Tomorrow will be fun though. Going to pull off UIM, replace rear valve cover gasket, mess with the VIAS, IACV, EGR, and probably paint the IM also.

I took my steering wheel off, removed both stalk switches, replaced the fuse for my low beams, and still can't find the cause of the problem I'm having.

Oil change, new wiper blades (which were free, btw), checked the battery, tires, brakes, filled the tires...anything else?? All last Friday (11/30) cuz I was going to Flagstaff the next day, only to slide off the road that day...freaky. My baby's all set for a while
