Any danger in using tuner lug nuts on non-aftermarket wheels?

I'm going to be putting EVO VIII wheels on my car and want to know if there's any danger in using tuner lugs that have tapered seats. The EVO wheels, like many stock wheels, do not have tapered lug holes, so tuner lugs will obviously not seat square and flush. Just wondering if any of you guys have used such lug nuts on your stock max wheels or other stock wheels and if you've had any problems.

BTW, does anyone know of any brand that sells lightweight lug nuts that do NOT have tapered seats? I've been looking everywhere but all I can find are ones with the taper!

thanks

Probably not a good idea to use tuner lugs on those. As far as lightweight non-tapered lug nuts, check www.justforwheels.com
