Quick Question about horn replacement?
#1
I want to replace my horns with ones that are deeper sounding than the factory one. Do I replace the one that is behind the front grill or the one that is on the side of the engine by where a supercharger would go? Thanks for any help.

Eihter one will do I think. But if you only replace one, you'll have to disconnect the other one or else it'll sound funny. Or replace both.
I put in some airhorns and connected it the the one next to the engine so I wouldn't have to run a wire to the one in front and then just disconnected the one in front.

They're easy to find. They're small circular disks. The one in front is right behind the grill. And the one inside the engine bay is on the left hand side of the engine. You can't miss them.

Install
So, do you just disconnect your old horn and just plug the new one in, or is there wiring and other crap you have to do? Do u have to connect crap to the battery and stuff like that, or is it unplug and plug back in.
Ravqs look more like discs, while clee130 are actual horns. The horns seem like they would be harder to install. Lemme know, i need to do this!

The only differences with these instructions and clee130's horns are I only have dual horns and I chose to locate mine behind the grill.

That looks like a biatch to install, what about the other kind of horn, no air horn type? How long would it take someone to install the air horn?

Re: Yuck
I thought it would be hard to install too. Took me nearly a month to attempt it myself.
Then to my surprise, it was fairly easy. The hardest part is finding the right brackets. I had a hard time getting my horns to fit in right because I had three of them. If I only had two, I would have been finished in about three hours. Cutting and running the wires and making it clean took a while too. Finding a place to mount the compressor stumpped me for a while.
But when it comes down to it, it wasn't that hard to install. And I had fun while doing it.
