Buying some new wheels (bidpay???)

I'm buying some new wheels for the maxima... the seller only accepts bidpay... I'm not sure what it is.. but do I have to open an account to use it... is it like paypal... also the most concern I had was if it is secured to use the bidpay.. I dont' want to send him a big money order or a check because it's not too secured that way.... btw this was on ebay...

Not sure how much I can trust this guy..

Only has 1 feedback and it was positive... not enough to determine how trustworthy he is... I had a problem before with a smiliar situation... so now i am more cautious...

Thanks

I think for bidpay, you pay to send money so seller doesn't get charged for receiving money like paypal.

I bought few stuff from a seller who had only few feedbacks. I just used Paypal AND a credit card. I knew if I got screwed, I had ebay, paypal, and credit card company to contact. If you are going to buy those wheels, I say use a credit card to pay so just in case you get screwed, you can call your credit card company and get the charges reimbursed.

I would find out if he will accept payment through an escrow service. You'll have to pay a little extra but it will provide you with some peace of mind.

For a purchase that costly id be sure you have a secure payment method. Insist on other payment methods or dont buy.
