Any Gen Maxima (Manual Only) Interest in Shift Gates?

If anyone doesen't know what a shift gate is, it's basically what you see in lamborghini's, ferrari's etc. Here's a pic

The price for this would probably be around $100

Could this be done for 2k2-2k3, or would the reverse lockout prevent it from being possible?

Its a good thought but VQuick brought up that the pattern would be different on STS's. And since nearly every STS has a different nuetral position it would take many different designs. Finally the depth of each groove would be shorter w/ and STS and inturn would look stupid.

But, if you have a stock shifter it might be cool. But who the he!l wants a stock shifter?

Same for a lot of mods...some people buy mods for looks only.

It looks sweet, I'd just want to *KNOW* it fits and will work on a 6-speed (the one shown obviously won't) and the only way to know is to make one and test fit it.

Doesn't a shift gate just prevent you from shifting too far? And is like basically a outline for you follow with your shifter?
