That is why it probaly didn't come up because it was not a "severe accident" or "total loss". It is still peace of mind or a nightmare for some when you find out about your cars history.

Almost $9,000 damage on a car that we'll just say cost around $30,000 brand new is pretty significant damage. I would hope that would show up, otherwise Carfax isn't as valuable as I thought it was.
Great find though Rafe...still well worth the price of admission.

Mine is clean too which had better been right!. I'm confused about how they found out my mileage for last June (DMV records). I have to ask my wife if she wrote any mileage on the 2004 license sticker renewal form.
the report also says my emissions warranty has expired. I thought by law it was 8 years/80,000 miles. The claim 2 years/24,000 miles.

Great link, i checked mine since I bought it brand new, it's accurate but I'm still wondering why it hasn't shown any mileage reported other than the one reported when I first acquire the car. The emission warranty threw me off, that it said 24months, and it's expired.
