you didnt mess with the spring purches to adjust height did you? you just spun the lower collar up and threaded the sleeve down into the brackets right?

as long as you put preload on the springs and have them as high as you can while lowering the sleeve into the lower brackets you will keep good travel. I didn't touch the spring purches in the rear and my ride is smooth while tucking nearly to the rim. There is no gap between my spring purch and lower collar purch in the rear, there is about a 2.5" or so gap in the front, with the sleeve lowered all the way to the point of having the adjuster dial about 1" from the cv boot on the axle.

It would suck to take them all off and readjust, but it may be worth it, and putting some preload on everything is a big help, especially if you lower the springs at all.

The only thing I don't really get is how you spin the rear up out of the bracket with it bolted to the car, i know there is a nut you can loosen near the lower mounting bracket and then it spins free, but ive yet to mess with it because i dont need to.

I had to roll the crap out of my fenders for air ride, so I could ride around tucking tire easily, but the turbo piping is what gets me, that **** sits about 1" off the ground and it's just not smart.. So i'll deal with 1 finger gap.

Hot stuff man. But I have to ask (since I am turbo ignorant), are those mufflers really necesary?? They're just way too huge for my taste, but I'm wondering if you needed that for turbo.

I did.

Or better put, I along with my brother built it with Jason up here in Atlanta. His car is the prototype for a kit we're working on.

They aren't really there for anything but looks, they are hurting the turbo actually.. just waiting my 3" muffler to get here and then they will be gone.

Is it the same as koni as in they send you a new one and charge you and then you send yours back and if they deem it broken you get your money back? Or do you just suffer?

Not my car either, maybe next year...Car is still being worked on.

This is what I spent most of my year working on, and it's what I'm bringing to NOPI.

You know you like it...

And my car would have made it if a certain uninvited houseguest didn't come knocking and take up all my time...

Oh, and you owe me $13.75

Too Low

It looks good in a pic, but isnt practical for everyday driving... thats one of those cruising cars.. dont go over 35mph with... drop the bottom out on that thing and take the undercarriage with it...

I also wonder if you had to go on the highway and hit a bump... would the tires get all ground up in the quarter panels...
