Screw punctured my tire today. Got a couple questions

I'm in the process of deciding if I should just get the tire repaired, or if I should order two new ones (the reason why I say two, is because I want a new pair, not just one new tire). If I get tire repaired will it be as good as new? I plan on doing some Auto-X, and possibly some drag racing this summer. Will the repaired tire be able to hold up to this? Will it still be as reliable at high speeds? Thanks.

Heres's a couple pictures of the punctured tire:

It looks far enough in.

Patch it, don't plug it.

having a good shop patch it up from the inside should have it running like new again, no need to replace them cause there's still a good amount of tread on them - i like the ssr competitions btw

when I had 16's I had at least one patch in each tire and they ran fine ever since with no problems. even high speed runs and also at the track. I have one patch on one of my 18s right now also
