HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry man.. that is just terrible..

when i saw the thread, i was thinking a scrape, a few dents.. fixable..

that's just horrible right there..

wow, really feel for you, after all the work and effort..
****ing people

good luck dude,

that would definately get me ****ed beyond belief.. i've had thoughts of going back to stock and selling stuff i haven't even put on the car yet.. because of scratches and minor dings.. but an accident would surely push me over the edge, because whats the point of putting effort into it just so some as*hole can be negligent and run straight into it.

PLEASE tell me that stupid cow got a speeding or reckless driving ticket... Any cop out there anc tell you that she was WAAAAY exceeding 25. Rather than guess a speed they could write her for "Speed unsafe for conditions" or whatever your state's version of that is...

i was able to get the car off the road.. i had to deflate the tire and jack up the car to get the rim off..

i then got a sledge hammer and BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM i beat the wheel well out far enough so the metal would not touch the tire.

i still do not have her insurance information

guess i need to make some phone calls.. i have the owners address and phone #...

hey jeff..

....i honestly dont know what to tell you...I figured everything was under control following this thread, but apparently it's taken a different twist. Now it's time to step up a notch and go ballistic. Get a lawyer, find out what she does etc. ALL her info. If she is married, her spouse's as well. You HAVE to sue for everything from the total value of your car * 1.5 to the gas money you used in getting to your lawyer's place. She will also have to pay the legal fees as well. There is also inconvenience...damn this is just ridiculous. Having no insurance and doing this kinda damage?? she should be in jail!! Man, you have to hit her for everything she has owned, owns and is yet to own in the future. Dunno what your insurance is going to say. You might be insured over uninsured drivers. Most insurance companies do that. Good luck man..I really admire your composure as I would most likely be in jail if this happened to me.

time heals, but carelessness needs to be severely and unmercifully punished.

what has she said so far??are you in constant touch with her? Personally, the moment I found out she was "insurance-free", I'd be finding out how much her home was worth. This is very painful. what are you waiting to do now as I know you probably have something lined up.

the same thing happened to me 2 yrs ago (of course a minor accident) and the other driver didnt have insurance... my insurance company cut me a check toget the car fixed and then went after her for damages.. i think they ended up sueing her for the repair bill... but i got the car fixed before she paid up and my insurance rates stayed the same. You should let your insurance company do the work for you...relieve some of your stress. thats what they are there for

.... good luck though, Im sorry to hear this happend to you... such a nice car

Take a deep breath... let it out. Feel better? Now...

It's party time.

Were the cops involved at all, or did you just get her details and let her leave? If they have not already been involved then get them now. Do you have insurance coverage that will pay upfront and go after her? Unionsured, collision or comprehensive should take care of it.

Has she offered to pay? Is she being communicative, or is she being evasive? Get everything in writing. If you have liabiliy-only and she is being a ***** then you'll have to sue.

Was the car fixed from the last wreck? It's like it has a big red sign on it

What is your next car going to be and what route are you going with it? Show or Go?

Sorry if this is a repost but I couldn't read through 10+ pages.

Man!!! All I can say is pray about it. God will give her what He sees fit. I wish they had a Morris Bart over there. Cumalot knows what I'm talking about. In his commercials people in wrecks get at least $75,000 to $200,000+! It's crazy, but true. I'll keep your situation in my prayers. On the bright side. You will be getting something better.

D@mn she doesn't have insurance, I am really really sorry to hear that. I had an accident in my eclipse the second day of my first year at college, talk about a bummer.

I was driving along checking out the town when this dumb b*tch doesn't check her blind spot and just easies over in my lane hitting me, I hit the horn and like a dumb b*tch she hits the brakes (instead of swerve back in her lane) and drags her passneger mirror down the side of my new gorgious eclipse cutting a nice gash down the side of it.

I pull over (she doesn't at first) to look at the damage. Then I jump in my car and chase her down to where she has pulled over. She gets out of the car and say's please don't tell my insurance I just totalled a Camaro and my parents will kill me. I said that my bank account will kill me unless I am sure this is going to get taken care of. She admits it's her fault then gives me her insurance information, and I inform my insurance company. In the next two days her insurance company calls me informing me that she said it was my fault. No witnesses and no police report + being in a new state and city where I realy can't even say where the accident happened or what direction we were going = both insurance compainies (mine and hers) saying fix the problems yourselves.

Her story was that I was driving on the shoulder and came over and hit her, but the funny thing was that the shoulder on that particular road is about 4inches wide. I still hate that b*tch and hope that she burns in h*ll. I think my parents may have her address from the insurance reports, I may go pay her a visit now that this has been revived. Redmaxpa007, I will get some for all of those of us who have been wronged by idiot drivers, I hope she drives a real nice car now.

From now on I will always call the police anytime anyone hits my car, even for door dings.

Damn Jeff,
I'm very sorry to see/hear this. Like everyone else says, you should definitely talk to a lawer and sue her for all the damages. I think its totally ridiculus that people can get away with driving without insurance. There's no way she was doing 25 to cause that kind of damage, I have an old chevy that has hit a few things in its day, its a very tough car and at 25 MPH it would not do that kind of damage.

Sue for damages, time spent because she has no insurance, mental anguish (because it must be taking everything you have to not flip out), lost wages (from shows that you could have won), aren't you and your family waking up in the middle of the night from nightmares that you were in the car when it happened?

Any rate, don't let it go whatever you do. I hope that all works out in the end. Good luck to you. Sorry for your loss.
