Question about Complete Cattman Exhaust System
i'm thinking about getting the complete Cattman Exhaust System for my 95 automagic. First is replacing the stock Cat Converter with the Random tech Converter legal. Also what kind of sound am should expect with a straight through exhaust and how loud (have an intake)
one last thing what are your experience with Cattmans y-pipes, muffler and so on. thanks a lot

Having the RT cat is legal, but if you plan to put an aftermarket Y-pipe on you may not pass. I have the complete cattman system and I love it. It is however loud, so if you dont want loud, dont get the rear section. It does have a very nice tone during acceleration.

When I had my test w/my Y pipe, I just made sure to drive around for a good hour before the test. The only purpose of the precats (which the Y pipe removes) seems to be to compensate for your cat while it is still cool. Once you're exhaust is hot enough, the main cat should do the job just fine even with an aftermarket Y pipe.
