00VI VIAS

Back several years ago when I installed an 00VI, I recall one of the major concerns was the cup in the VIAS working loose. And although the "fix" involved using JB Weld, doing that as a preventative measure was much more likely to be a permanent solution than doing the JB Weld thing after it had already worked itself loose.
Having just recently sold my Maxima, I just came across a VIAS I picked up quite awhile ago as a backup/spare just in case mine ever gave up the ghost. But that JB Weld fix did its job and I never needed to use this spare VIAS. It's not had the precautionary JB Weld fix, but the cup doesn't wiggle at all, so this would be a perfect replacement for someone who's been having a problem. Or as a backup/spare for someone who want's to be prepared for that possibility. Anyone need it?

In all honesty, I don't have any idea what it's really worth. I think the guys on this forum ought to be able to chime in on what a fair and reasonable price would be.

You can find full UIMs for around $80 to $120 shipped. If I needed it, Id offer $30 for it. But Im a cheap bastard.

Throw me a figure for what it's worth to you.

Back when these 00VI's were first becoming the "hot" upgrade for the 4th Gen Max., I sourced several of these complete setups, cleaned them up, JB Welded the cup and did whatever else was needed to make then premo and installation-ready. The one thing I remembered as being the common problem was that the mindless gorillas at the salvage yards often broke off hose nipples. My fix for that was to cut off, drill out, tap for threads, and epoxy in a brass hose-barb fitting. I don't know if those $80-120 UIM's that are being referenced may be ones that have that damage or not. But my recollection is that once that sort of problem is taken care of, the only other problem with the 00VI that's subject to deterioration over time is that cup in the VIAS. For anyone with an 00VI, if that's a possible problem you may have to face down the road, finding one of these when you actually need it may be a lot harder than you think. That's why I popped for the money to buy this one when I did. Fortunately, I never needed to use it because I JB Welded my cup before it ever became loose.
Just a thought to consider.
