Bought a new toy...

Bought myself a new toy for the toolbox... DeWalt DW059 1/2 Cordless Impact Gun... Thanks to the Thread talking about cordless impact guns, I was able to make myself a wise and educated decision for my needs.

Ive always wanted a nice cordless one. Just picked up off brand 1/2 corded impact. Works great for around $150. 240 ft/lb trq. Used it first time on cv joint nut.

nice gun, good choice, I have the snap on 3/8 gun and it is so handy but a 1/2 would be nice for lug nuts and such.

anyway, 1/2 dewalt FTW

too clean, like a new pair of white sneakers! dirty it up with some grease and grime so it looks like you've used it for much hardcore work! Nice pickup though, I have a ton of DeWalt tools and have never been able to kill one, aside from the one that I drilled into its own electrical cord and blew up the motor....

dirty:

Can't go wrong w/ DeWalt! I've used these quite a bit before, and they are very nice.

Now I think I am going to sell all my RYOBI 18V tools so I can replace them with Dewalt so I can have a full matching set...

Be careful with Dewalt. They make these things in Mexico now and quality has gone down hill sharply, I used to sell these things. I would stick with Makita.
