What do you use to seal your pneumatic fittings?

I tried using some natural gas pipe dope, but it didn't seem to work too well on those Milton M plugs. Has anyone tried threadlocker or other types of sealant? Or even the cheap tape?

What's the industry norm?

I do a couple wraps. Make sure you do the wrapping the opposite way it screws in so the teflon tape doenst unravel itself when you screw the fitting in.

Correct a couple wraps around, wrap it counter clockwise so the teflon will tighten on itself while you screw your plugs. Try to avoid the last two threads so that way no trash would be introduced into your system should the teflon break.
