Thought I was gonna say t!ts didn't ya. Well now that you're in here lets see your guns.
I'll go first. I picked this badboy up about 4 months ago. Since then its been a blessing in so many ways. Claimed 800lbs/ft and it weighs about 4 pounds. 800 is a bit hard to believe but this thing brings home the bread. I have yet to encounter a nut or bolt that wouldn't come out. I love it so much that I put it on my pillow next to me sometimes. J/K Now that the GF works at Ingersol I'm going to be getting the same guns in 3/8" and 3/4". Discount FTW.
Cale "IWNTMOREHP" - "Broan takes drivin back to the old school...dirt all over his face with sunglass ring marks were they kept the dirt from stickin and gloves to protect his hands! What a crazy bastard!"
Actually, I'm interested in getting a cordless impact. Which brands are considered really good? Strap-on obviously but what about others? I've got 18v Nakita stuff already so something in that lineup would be awesome. Doesn't need to have super impressive torque just be able to hold a good charge and rip off some medium torque stuff. I'll have to check it out.
And yes agreed on IR FTW. I wish I coulda gotten one of their compressors but she didn't work there then and I couldn't justify over $1k just for a compressor. Whenever this one lets go I'll upgrade I guess.

I've had several different cordless impacts, and none of them have come close to the SnapOn in terms of breaking power and battery lift....there's a reason they cost so much, and they're worth every penny. You can see how beat up mine is and it will still take of bolts that are 30 years rusted-on old....

I had this IR 1/2 drive. Untill it was stolen from my garage when i went downstairs to grab a different socket. The theif was so stupid, he didnt even take off the quick connect, i came up stairs to hear my air compressor going and air rushing out. he hacked off part of the hose to steal it. I was only gone for ~5 minutes.
Got everything off i needed to get off. 36mm axle nuts were no problem, rusted exhaust bolts, well if they didnt strip or break the bolt it took it off. Id definaltey buy another one when i have money. For now a 24" & 36" long breaker bar and a can of penetrating fluid along with my cordless impact are doing me okay.

wouldnt the gun be restricted to how many pounds of pressure the compressor puts out? Thats what I always thought, cause my compressor did like 150 so I just assumed thats what my POS husky put out.

The gun isn't restricted by the compressor(unless its a really small pancake or something). Pressure to the gun should be regulated. Compressors are designed to shut off when the tank pressure reaches a preset. In your case 150psi. Most tools require 90psi and thus there is a reg at the tank output that steps it down so there is 90psi in the line. If you got a stuck bugger that is about to come off but needs a bit extra you can turn the pressure up. A good gun will put out more torque with more pressure and should zip it off.
I hear ya on the get whatcha pay for thing Irish. How much is "a lot" for a Strap-On cordless? I've got a buddy that works at a dealership so I'm gonna have him get me one.

I think they run about $450 brand new (the new model is more pwerful than mine is), but i've seen them on craigslist and ebay in good condition for 200-250 with two batteries.
