Filter Alternatives

Looking for FUEL filter & PCV OEM ALTERNATIVES!

Would prefer better than avg. filtration/namebrand -- like Wix, Amsoil, or better.
Wix doesn't seem to carry either.

Suggestions??

I checked WIX's site yesterday, and they don't list that part for my car.

You're right...I checked the FSM for your year vehicle...the fuel filter is inside the tank and its described as a maintenance-free item. You have to drop the tank in order to access it. My 4th gen uses a conventional filter located under the hood, but the filter on my '00 Infiniti is located in the tank like yours is.

I got my info from AMSOIL's on-line application guide...the p/n they reference is for the conventional type filter. I'm will let Tech Services know that there's an error in the database. thx, ed

The filter is inside the tank and can be accessed by taking off the rear seats. I got mine from the stealership.

OEM is great why monkey with Wix and all that nonsense, it costs $20. Made in Japan "ghostrider17", trust the Japanese!!!

As for OEM -- not ALL OEM stuff is equal to the quality of hi-end aftermarket products, such as WIX.
OEM is mass-produced, and although it's guaranteed to fit 7 WORK, it AIN'T always better!! --and who SAYS the Japanese are ACTUALLY making these filiters?!?!?
