AMSOIL offers synthetic high performance DOT-3 and DOT-4 brake fluid. I don't know if it's a "fave" or not, but I have sold this fluid to several of our members over the past year or so. AMSOIL's brake fluid is probably more pricey than the Valvoline fluid, but it's a very good product. See my post in the Group Deal forum.

Unfortunately I need to pick something up today, but I basically jotted down Amsoil yesterday for future brake fluid purchases.

Look around the web, Valvoline did discontinue the entire Synpower lineup which is a shame. Their new replacement stuff has a 23deg lower dry limit of 480, but a 32deg lower wet limit of 311 now.

Synpower motor oil is still listed on their website, but synpower brake fluid is not. I believe on their website the Synpower motor oil is the only Synpower product listed.
