Changing axles on auto - how much ATF needed?

I'm about to change the axles on my wife's 99 I30 auto. I know some of the ATF will drain out when changing both axles. Roughly how much will drain out? I need to go ahead and buy enough quarts ahead of time so I can finish the job all at once. Also, what fluid is recommended? __________________ 95 Maxima SE 5MT BM1 99 I30 limited
