Bout To Switch Over

OK... Hear is the deal i wanta switch to over to synthetic ... Ive been reading alot on other threads bout what to do $hit like that, But i just ran into another thread talkin about Auto-Rx!!!,Ok ... Is this a good product or Are they just blowin smoke up peoples @sses ??? So im kinda stuck now ,Should i try this out first then switch over Or just change the oil filter dump the old oil out and put the synthetic in ... need some help here (please) ....

i just did my second synthetic its good just go with mobil 1 5w30 itss pretty good

Just switch. Drain the old oil, change the filter and refill with synthetic. No need to do any preparation.

even if it has 158k+ miles on it (with regular dino oil changes)?????

Talking to the local parts store who sold me the Amsoil, they had never heard of the Auto-Rx but suggested just a simple engine flush to remove any of the gunk to assuade the fear that the synthetic will adhere it on to the sides more permanently.....
