Mobile One or OEM Oil Filter?

The Mobile One Filter is slightly higher by about $2. However I can get the filter and oil at the same place verses going to Nissan for the filter then somewhere else to get the oil. Just wondering is the Mobile One worth the extra $2 or and convienence or should I stick with the OEM Nissan filter. I know both are good and no damage will come by not using the OEM..but I have this thing about using OEM products that just makes me feel better...lol. But the dealer here in Austin are a little higher then in other places it seems..$8+ for an oil filter, $13+ for PCV, and 21+ for fuel filter. Those are prices including .0825% sales tax. Thanks

15208-9E000 OEM filter is usually $6

Mobil 1 M1-110 is $12

I would go with a Bosch 3323 ($6) or a STP S6941 ($7) before the two you have picked out. Mobil would be last in this list based on cost, although all are good choices.

Go to David Burnette at South Point Nissan. I believe he charges $4 or $5 for the 15208-9E000 filters.

Thanks, I'll give him a call. I'm closer to Town North Nissan but I change my oil at a friends not far from South Point.

David was alleviated from his duties @ Town North and is now at South Point, and he'll give you a better price than $8 for the OEM filters.

Tell him I said hi.
