Cruise control problem or something else?

After shop put new motor in my car while driving the car down the hill on cruise control is acting werid. U know when is go down the hill the foot back of automatic will mine kept doing that until car goes on flat rd n it doesn't do it while going up the hill but the rpm rise up bec speed going down on cruise control.

Motor Mount Insert DIY question

How can I do this without using an engine hoist? Is there a DIY for this allready? I remember reading one but did a search and can't seem to find it. I plan to do this real soon so all help is greatly appreciated. I have plenty of tools in the garage just not a lift nor an engine hoist <-yet. This could be a good excuse to get one. Also I plan to replace the front and side mounts and add the inserts. The rear will be done when my tranny is done. Thanx again guys.

Cattman needs 6th gen Maxima for quick muffler fitment check in SoCal

We (Cattman Performance) are slightly redesigning our muffler set for the 04-08 Maxima, and we need a vehicle for a very quick fitment session (in Huntington Beach/Westminster area) to make sure we've got the new oval tips positioned exactly right.

We will be glad to offer some type of consideration to show our appreciation for the help, let's discuss if interested.

We're eager to make a batch of these 6th gen Maxima mufflers (and b-pipes) right away, but this test fit has to happen first, so if you're in a position to help, give me a call at 800.759.9920 (open 9-5 MST or 8-4 PST, M-F).

In an attempt to fix my brake light, I'm wanting to check the e brake switch.

I can't figure out for the life of me how to get to it. I've got half the console torn apart, but can't figure out how to get the cup holder assembly out.

What is my next step?

I need to give him a pic of the brake reservoir and the m/c if possible.

So I need a new Battery

Ok, so on Friday I pick up my car after an oil change (finally got some Amsoil in there!!!) and David, my mechanic, gives me a hint that it's time to replace the old battery...

I have been thinking of getting an Optima, but was not sure if it would be the best choice. I know some of you have it currently installed and was hoping you could give me any input.

Looking at the Red Top 35 (8020-164) or the Yellow Top D35 (8040-218).

Brake light is on

My brake light stayed on after I left my house today - thought maybe I hadn't released the e brake all the way, but that wasn't it. Checked the brake fluid and its topped off. There was a little bit of sediment in the bottom of the reservoir though.

What else could it be? The manual says to go to a Nissan dealer........trying to avoid that route.
