Ok, here is the official information about the November Track day at Rockingham
it is this Saturday, November 21st

Gates open at 11:00 Track opens for runs at 12:00, Qualifying will start at 2:00PM there will be test and tune going on all day so come on out and lets run some cars, truck, and bikes down the famous Rockingham 1/4 mile track. come on out and bring the family for some all day fun. tickets will be sold at the gate and prices are $25 for car and driver, $10 for each crew member/spectator. Kids 12 and under are free. your ticket will also get you into the regular events scheduled for later that night at no extra charge.

here is a list of the events. also, if you have someone you want to challenge to a grudge race, I feel sure it can be worked in as well

Handy Racing/Carolina Rides 275 shootout.

Beater/Daily Driver Shootout will be set up as a bracket race.

The first round will start at 2:00 pm - early arrival is advised!

Triple Trophy Car Show 1st 2nd and 3rd place

Open to ALL Makes & Models - If You're Proud of it, SHOW IT!

Judged by the CarolinaRides Staff - The best three cars take home trophies!

Judging will take place between 1:00 PM and 1:30PM - please have your car ready and don't move it between these times!

Trophies Also Awarded for Quickest ET and Quickest MPH of the day - open to race cars and street cars alike. Keep your time slips!

EFI Shootout in Quick 8 format $40 entry fee with 100% payback.

Top 8 qualifiers run heads up; rest of the field will run an Index race

Proposed Rules are below they are subject to change a little depending on the make up of the cars that show up.

If you have any question please feel free to post it up here or send me a PM. If you have a fuel injected car you have a very good chance to win some money in this race no matter how fast your car is. The rules are set to make an even playing field.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This class designed for STREET CARS and TRUCKS. Entries are permitted EFI Naturally Aspirated/nitrous equipped/supercharged/ or turbo charged small block applications. This class is designed for stock bodied, stock appearing vehicles that can be driven on the street. All cars that did not qualify in the "Quick 8" will automatically be entered in a bracket race.

REQUIREMENTS:

• All lights on vehicle must be functional. IE Headlights/taillights/brake lights/turn signals/hazard lights/horn/etc.

EXTERIOR OF VEHICLE:

• Vehicle must have full body

• Aftermarket hoods allowed

INTERIOR OF VEHICLE:

• Interior of vehicle must maintain “stock appearance”

TRANSMISSION:

• Factory Mass Production style 3/4/5/6 speed transmissions accepted

• No Power glides

EXHAUST: must exit behind the firewall.

TURBOS: single or twin ok

•SUPERCHARGERS: any mass produced factory or aftermarket supercharger systems is permitted.

NITROUS:

•single, multi, or progressive controllers permitted

TIRES/WHEELS:

• DOT/Drag Radial Tires or slicks are permitted

• Tire diameter limited to 28”

FUEL:

No fuel restrictions.

INTAKE MANIFOLD:

• Commercially available, mass produced intake manifolds permitted

• Sheet metal intakes permitted

THROTTLEBODY:

• Single throttle body only

FUEL INJECTORS:

• must be the same number that came stock on the car.

CARBURETORS:

• Prohibited

Handy Racing will be holding a 275 race payout and rules

Payout: This is based on a minimum of 13 cars showing up for the 275 race

winner will get $650 and a set of 275 drag radials

second will get 300

third will get 175

fourth to get 125

a. One power adder only
b. NOS Big Block 2 stages max

d. Turbo Small Block single 88 max twin 67 max
e. NOS entries can use one 15lb bottle max
f. NOS controllers and boost controllers allowed
g. Supercharger f1r xi trim or smaller

4. 275/60 drag radial max as printed on sidewall
