Turbo 4gen make 413fwhp
Ok so I am posting this for a local org member who want to the dyno and made three pulls. They were 396, 398 and 413 after letting the car cool down. Mods are a stock vq30, 60-1 turbo, jwt ecu, mevi, pftb, 3inch ic piping and exhaust "no cutout used on these pulls".
I'll let the owner go into additional details about his setup encase he does not want it out there.

This was last minute (As stated above). A friend stopped by the shop yesterday and mentioned a local dyno competition. We strapped the car down straight off the highway and put down 396whp and 398whp back to back. We let the car cool down for the final 2 passes. 1st cool down run was 443whp (false reading according to dyno operator) and the final was 413whp @15 psi.
The car makes anywhere from 14.3 -15.1 psi on the street which results in no traction until third if i get on it. Im intentionaly building a "highway hero" that i plan to rev past 7400 rpms.

My car is being built in essential the same fashion, because its just not gonna put down over 300whp in 1st or 2nd, i have cams so it can breath quite easily up to 7500rpm but im capping it at 7200rpm.
Also how is that transmission holding up?

No valve springs, rev-up oil pump, cams to help at those rpm levels?

the one thing im worried about is my trans, with this setup im going for i know it will easily do 400whp, its just that trans. Ontop of that i have a VLSD trans so i really dont want to lose it.

I see. So pretty much you just wanna see how much the stock 3.0 will take before kaboom?

I blew third in my vlsd bout 2 yrs ago still sitting on the shelf waiting for a rebuild.. I belive you should have atleast one spare tranny @ all times regardless of how much power ur making. They will break i promise...lol

This is what I like to see, making power on 3.0's, 3.5's are overrated lol. People should stop saying "so u going to boost till it blows", "it can blow any minute", etc... I truly believe a 3.0 with strong head studs can reliably make near 550hp.

Damn nice numbers, that thing must come alive so hard when it finally does.
You stole the words right from my mouth, I haven't seen anyone find the true (Not headgasket) limit of a 3.0- who's bent rods without tuning/deto issues

3.0s probably are slightly stronger than 3.5s but with boost.....i dont see how it can be much stronger than a 3.5. I like 3.0s, and im boosting a 3.0 but just being realistic about it. There is a 350Z putting down 600whp stock block. doesnt really explain guys blowing up at 350whp.
