mods: intake, SSIM, spacers, y-pipe, technosquare f-spec ECU with z33 vtc map and maybe z33 ignition timing map.
leaned out to 14.7+ after 6300 rpm so thats why the power drops off so strangely. all in all im pretty happy with the ECU, i picked up about 20wtq from 3300 to 4500 and over 10 wtq from there to the lean out. also picked up about 10+ whp for the entire powerband. I hope someday i get around to buying some hotshots or cattman headers, since im sure i could pick up a good deal with those
It depends on how 'far' you want to go. Most dudes wont pay that much for quality ( near equal length headers), BUT if you're serious, and wont complain about how much you hate FWD, then you just may be a prime candidate.

prime candidate for what? my hatred for FWD is large, but i dont mind because my max is a DD (like all maximas should be IMO) and I want to push upwards of 260whp NA in the future some time on this platform. well see where my car takes me though. if i were getting headers they would have to be quality, equal length pieces

That dynochart actually looks completely on-par with what one should expect. The 14.7 AFR read-out is not necessarily an indication of improper fueling; in fact - even from factory, newer Nissans run a fairly aggressive fueling curve where as timing adjustments compensate in bulk for the safety of the mixture. So no worries! We also don't know where the O2 sensor was placed, how precise it is, how fast it is to react. So, the chart and the numbers look good, cheers!

These cars are not that lean stock, IMO, it was probably the placement of the O2, which is typically post cat (tailsniffer).

guess i should have mentioned this earlier but the O2 readings were from my LM-1 placed just after the 2-1 collector
Well, that changes the perspective a bit seeing as that's a nice wideband. Do you have a log of that power pull; it's not just a visual observation is it? I still stand by my earlier statement, the timing will determine the safety of that tune - the fueling is not as lean as we are used to thinking.

i dont have the log anymore, but i did. it was running between 13.3 and 13.5 until 6300 where it tapered and eventually went to 14.7+ at 6500. it should be fine as i have tuned that out now, now the a/f continues to be 13.3-13.5 through 7100. it was just a problem with the vafc tune, i had to add two points of fuel, which actually is where it should have been before, not sure why i changed it. the ratio stays pretty flat after the technosquare tune, they did a pretty good job having it stay flat

Great. The shape of the torque curve, even on that graph does not indicate any problems.

yeah, the z33 vtc map really helped that bottom/midrange torque and HP (mostly the torque, as expected) and you really can feel the difference in power from 3300 to 4500. im the most happy with the extra 500 RPM. with the SSIM the power doesnt really drop off from peak to the 7100. you can even see it on the dyno, the power drops at the lean and stays constant until redline, which tells me that with the right AFR it would have been relatively flat in there, with just a real slow, gradual drop
