Direct comparison 4th gear (Same timing curve and similar AF curve) -
Best 3rd gear pull with some more tuning -

FYI I always hit the rev limiter for every dyno test. Even when it's strapped in the car jumps around on the rollers cause it hit's so hard.
I think the dyno reads the RPM a little lower and thats why it says 6400 rpm.
There will be a video up soon, you guys can hear the car hitting the rev limit.

Very very nice. Are you still overall disapointed though? Also, do you have pics of your old Y?

Oh wait, nevermind, I tend to forget my car isn't technically a maxima.

your curve was still on a positive slope...you should really get your rev limiter extended...you could be making more power than that! plus those extremely heavy wheels you speak of...

So...........extend the rev limiter and expose the DEK cams potential.

well the de intake cam have actually proven to be better breathers on top end, but nonetheless, his curve looks to be on a very positive slope where it got cut off, thus I would think there would be a little more left in it if he were to get it extended...

That's kind of a moot point as Im always disapointed and looking to do something better. Ask Itayi, im already planning the next set of stuff to do for this car.
Though I would like for the bees sound to go away on these headers and then I could live with them.
My old y pipe is a Warpspeed wrapped in header wrap spray painted black, not much to look at...

So, 'real' headers are not in the future plan(s)?

The Cattmans are all that I can do for now. Unless I want to go with some custom fabrication of some sort.
I will post some more ideas in the coming weeks in all motor and you guys can have fun shooting them down.

truth be told most people do it for the sweet equal length sound....and in my case, the 25lb. weight reduction...
but also you have to look at the fact that it's not just 5-6whp added, it's 5-6 added all the way from 5K-redline...same goes with the torque curve...

Yes I see that but still, 800 bucks is alot to dish out for the minimal power gain. I do know conditions were much better for the first run tho so that does bring the numbers down a lil bit i suppose.

A clean engine is a happy engine and happy engines make more power.
See the sig on how it used to look in 2006 when I first cleaned it up.
Next up is the engine build I want to do with alot of attention to detail.

b0000 it loaded but all I got was a ? mark on the Quicktime logo FTL :-(. Either way tho, amazing results! and the curves are simply stunning. With extended redline wow. not only more power, but also beter gearing. This car would be a beast on the track and even more fun on the highway if you just had more revs! aaaite :-D

OMG, add a cutout and eliminate the midpipe (like mine and NMexMax's intake, TB>Coupler>MAF>Cone).... OMG that top end would be pure sexualz
EDIT- aaaaahh!!! and a 3" MAF, jesus. DEK all motor in the 230-235whp what!!!!!! Beats 85% of 3.5 swaps in here, hahaha

Extended redline without a shorter F/D to match usually means worse gearing.
