dynoed the car today

Wasn't too happy with the results but im not too upset since i got something coming to really put down the power.

best run was 226whp and 227wtq. i was running a little rich and they didnt give the car anytime to cool down from it being hot from the drive from my house. of course i dont have the sheets because there printer broke but they are going to email me wednesday with it. thats all.

There's alot of people here (myself included) that may not know what supporting mods you have to the swap besides the obvious full ECU rewire and intake from the sig, lol.

Tell us the mods so we can actually determine is you're dynoing caca or where you should be. Also, wat dyno machine was it?

ah sorry about the wrong thread post. small boltons.. intake, headers, 2.5in exhaust, clutch, flywheel, solid mounts. did it on a dynojet.

If it's not to much throw some brand names on the list. For example Stillen vs Hotshot headers make a big difference.

226whp sounds a low to me for a FULL VQ35 swap with boltons. unless he has some rreally crappy headers exhaust and a ebay air filter.

Jump in here man we need brand names, and dyno charts, got and CEL lights ? you should be doing 240whp, IF you have good brand name headers exhaust, with a GOOD tune.

Could be as installed, there are exhaust restrictions that aren't present in a Maxima, sort of how the same engine (the tuned port injected 350s) from a Corvette makes less power in the Camaro due to differences in the exhaust system.

Still...226hp at the wheels in a Sentra is going to be pretty quick. Hopefully you can sort out the tuning and get it out to the drag strip this spring.

Good point, but I’m wondering if anyone has tried to fit equal length units in the Sentras?

I'v got the swap also. Here's the sheet.
All i have is custom short ram intake, with a custom exhaust and custom headers..all done by travis.

Ran a 13.42@102 on a november day.

edit:Blue line is when i had the 2.5 in it with a pulley,cai,exhaust.
