Ashamed to post these measly #'s after seeing 3.5 #'s

Added a/f ratio.

I final got my run files from my dyno that I did a couple of months ago.As I stated these are hardly worth posting after all the 3.5 dyno numbers I'm seeing.I did a dyno run to see if there was a way to tell if the VI00 is opening too soon or to late but I can't tell other than it looks as if I might want to try to activate it a little sooner. My mods for this run are short ram intake,y-pipe with full stock exhaust, udp, dek motor, jwt ecu,neo afc.Since this dyno I've changed a few things(3" maf, pathy TB, returnless fuelrail).I also had the motor out to install some S1 knockoffs but after finding a 3.5 with less than 100 miles on it for $400 I thinks my 3.0 modding days are over.Time to move on to making some real seat of your pants torque and horsepower.

You have nothing to be ashamed for with this dyno's #s. Sure they are not close to the 3.5s #s, but for wat it is, that motor was running pretty damn good! Those #s are pretty solid mate. I'd like to see the a/f graph as well if possible though. Considering VI and ECU upgrade, I would have expected 205whp-ish.

When I left my 3.0 I left it at 191whp/ 195wtq, but that was on STD correction.

Not only that but look at the power @ 7K.

I'd be happy. Got an AFR curve?

95 BLKMAX I was also expecting least to break the 200 barrier and after talking about it with a few people the only thing I can figure is I might be seeing the difference in a dek motor with the intake cam having 8 degrees less duration on it than what the de motors have.Wish I had dynoed the old motor with the VI00 on it before I bent the values and had to replace it with the spare dek I had.I'll repost the af ratio when I get back to work tomorrow. Thanks for the replies hopeful the next time I repost my dyno numbers I'll be able to join the 240+hp club!

Nice healthy numbers. Looks like the VI is opening about 400-500 RPM late, though.

Could very well be that cam timing difference, but I'd also want to check compression on it as well. No point though if you're swappin in the 3.5 soon, lol For now, so long as it runs, lol.

Dude when I got into the 240s I jumped around like O_O_O_O_O!!!!!! Great stuff! Now Im hoping for high 240s, then with the EU... ~260whp will be my goal with all the timing advance and fine tuning that the motor has coming. I already put in my order with GoalieKeg for his plug and play ubber harness for the EU

Whats the status on your 3.5 swap progress thus far?

Those are very nice numbers i dont see the problem. How many degree's timing advance does the jwt ecu give you? those numbers are pretty close to what i put down when i was n/a, i believe i did 195whp and 197wtq, btw im automatic.
I had, CAI, UDP, full exhaust, vafc2, stock ecu.

^^^ to be honest I'm not sure what my timing is advanced as I bought the jwt off of another org member.I need to hook it up to my timing light and check it.I'm very happy with the way the car is running but as far as power you know how it is it's never enough.I guess what I'm liking about the 3.5 is the torque that you get .Seeing as I do alot of driving (about 500 -700 miles a week) I'm in the lower rpm range alot.I am wondering why all the 3.5 and 3.5 swaps have the dip at 3000 to 4000 rpms.I thought it might be from the vias (or VCT?) but some of the guys that have removed there butterflies and the divider between the runners and are have the same thing happen in their dyno graphs.I'll be ordering the kinetix intake for my swap so I'm wondering if changing intakes with the after market cams running on the A32 ecu if I will still get that lil dip I see everyone having.I know I know someone is gonna say just put it together and dyno to find out which I most certainly will but I am just trying to understand what is causing it and how to fix it if it can be fix before I install the motor.

I want a Kinetix for my 3.5. I think that lil dip is the A32 stock ECU messin' with us on timing, with a pullback on timing around 3500 rpms.

I'll fix it with a 150-shot of spray. Spray luvs retarded ignition. Heh....

That dip represents an inoperative 2k2 VI. Nothing more or less.

Great if that's the case then hopeful the Kinetix will fix it.We shall see in a month or so. Grey I'm anxious to see your numbers with the setup you have on the juice.Your track time should be insane like Jimes.

No it wont. the Kinetix is just a blinggy version of the SSIMs (as far as powercurves go). IMO its not worth the ~$700 price tag to get just a few more horses than the SSIM (free). That manifold flows great up top while compromising the midrange (just like the SSIM does). 6spdhayes has an old dyno laying around somewhere showing just hotshot headers, intake and SSIM, and he has the same dip in power at 3500 as I do on my swap'd 95.

But it does look sexy I must say.... but for the price?? meh!

Awesome numbers man! Almost the exact same as mine.

I had 199.98whp with 186wtq

7000rpm DEK motor is impressive. Good job!
