My 3.0 Best vs 3.5 (current) Best

3.0- USIM, SAFC1 Tuned, UDP, Hacked Air Box, Gutted cat (blah, caca), Y-Pipe, Port n Polished LIM, port-matched to upper IM. (December 05)

3.5- Short ram intake, 3" MAF, SSIM, UDP, WSP Ypipe/ test pipe/ catback, 16v Ignition, SAFC1 tuned, no power steering

Not bad at all... after 3500, and before 3500. That nasty dip in power at 3500 is disturbing. And In sure it has to do with the 3.0 ECU's dip in timing, plus the collapsed flex I had at the time (stock headers and wsp ypipe have been replaced with HS knockoff headers with a custom equal length ypipe), plus the SSIM taking power out of my midrange.

Whatever the case, I will be redyno'ing on the 20th. I have done the new ubber headers, plus an ubber short intake (eliminated the midpipe, so its just TB>coupler>MAF>Cone.... Its quite peaky I must say. So I cant wait to see how that top end looks now

Nice man!! Lots more area under the curve!! I wonder how a boosted VQ30 would compare in terms of area under the curve.

Obviously depends on the type of boost.

95BLK, post torque curves scaled from 2500 - 3500 just for sharts and gangles.

and yes it would def depend on the type of boost, AMOUNT of boost, the supporting mods to that boost, etc...

Here's an example of just that
Just for the Heck of it...

Me vs streetzlegend's RMT @ 10psi
