glenmoormax's SC maxima

Okay, some of you know I bought vortechpower's SC maxima. Before I bought the car, Brandon had it dynoed at 327 whp, hitting 13 psi. (2.87 pulley)

I dynoed the car in the same state it was in when I bought it, on 91 octane, (which is all I have here) and a open cutout I added. I dropped 34 whp with a 4300 ft elevation. I only hit 10 psi. VI open.

headers, tune, activating vi, and a 2.62 pulley have yet to have been installed, although VI is now working, and I will have my fireball flame out the exhaust tamed a little. (You could smell the richness at the dyno place).

Open cut out vid is show, only netted me an extra 3 whp with it open, vs closed. I am happy about that, that means my nice cattman b pipe and stillen rear are pretty quiet, yet flow excellent.

By adding the headers and pulley, along with the tune i expect to be back up to the numbers brandon got.

No a/f displayed, couldn't find a certain piece, but my wideband is pegged at 10.8-11.0 the entire time. I know it was tuned professionally, but just extremely rich.

I could take you....

Do you think the higher altitude is why boost psi is lower? What is the exhaust system like ?? The torque seems kinda low, too.

Where did the car come from? I assume it was dyno'ed at that place. Really interesting stuff there. I'm sure you'll get it whupped into shape.. Then I can take you with a clear conscience - nitrous don't care about altitude...

lol i know it nitrous doesnt' car, it doesn't liek it when you bog neither.

Brandon (vortechpower) had it dynoed (hoping he will chime in) at sea level, virginia i believe. I am now at 4300 ft and it won't budge past 10... when I took it to vegas it would see 11, MAYBE 12, so yes I have reason to believe you lose some boost the higher you go. Thus the reason for the smaller pulley

torque may be low due to open vi? i dunno... i think IIRC my torque is the same as what vortechpower had. I need to tune it badly. (Emanage blue)
