Cattmans 2nd Generation headers - Take a look

All

So these numbers were not as impressive as I had hoped. I am running Cattmans 2nd generation headers, along with his full catback system and a Berk Intake.

As you can see from the corrected numbers, the HP and TQ are a little low.
It also appears my A/F is running quite lean down low.

Now Im planning on having my UDP installed very shortly, and I will also be getting a timing advance at the same time. Will it be best to leave the SAFCII install till after I have these items done??

Any other pointers and suggestions?

Torque

Sig reads 239fwhp .. ...

I'd get it tuned after ... but I still don't think pulley or timing advance will have any affect on A/F ..

Not tryina get off topic here, but where do you purchase Cattman's gen 2 headers from? Their site doesn't show anything about them nor the gen 1s as far as I know.

Btw...those #s DO look a lil on the low side when compared to the gen1s. Maybe ur catback n intake skewed the dyno results a lil by changing the ideal a/f ratio away from what you would've wanted for the headers alone. ??? Jus my $.02.

He doesn't yet have the pulley installed nor the timing advance as far as I can tell from what he wrote.

This is why we have a/f control

And? I was suggesting he get it tuned after he installs them... I knew they weren't installed Even then I do not believe that those 2 modifications will have any affect on the A/F itself.

Oh ok, my fault. Yea I dunno how either of those mods would affect timing either. But then again, I'm no automotive engineer.

We're not talking about if those mods will affect timing, one will... But we were originally(from the first post) talking about the A/F...

Ans it's relation to base idle timing being changed and adding a crank pulley will affect A/F, which is the main subject of this thread.

Just a point to note, Run_File_003 (red) is a 4th gear pull and Run_File_001 (blue) is 3rd Gear.

^^I wonder if that would attribute to the 'choppiness' of the 2 runs being compared.

So no1's selling them from a website? Not even the gen 1s? I find that weird since the gen 1s have been out for so long.
So how do I kno what I'm paying for if I can't see a pic, included parts list, material construction, etc.?
Maybe they're just that new & no1 has had the time to post info on it on a site.
But does anyone kno if they plan to sell online?
Sorry if it seems like I'm whinning, it's jus that I'm accustomed to seeing what I'm buying b4 I buy.
Thanx again.

Email him, and he'll respond with pics/specs/dynos/ and anything else you want to ask him...
or
Donate and search on here ..

Most of the ones being dynoed recentl'y came from a pre-ordered batch, so unless someone's selling them used, your only bet is him, well that's if you indeed want cattmans.....And genII's.

Got this email from Brian today...................

The price is $850, including a limited installation kit. We’re selling them right now. Production is still lagging behind demand, and the current wait is about 10-14 days after ordering. An order locks your place in line, but we don’t charge the credit card until the part’s ready to ship so your money’s not hanging out there while you wait.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
