349HP/338Lbs of torque 98 GXE, 5 spd, 9.7PSI turbo

After racing a late 90s SCed Mustang cobra two weekends ago I was in total disbelief. I had to go back to the dyno to see my new numbers. I did tweak my AFR using a O2 wideband that hooks up to a laptop.

PFI T4/TO4E SS, BB Turbo
9.7 PSI
Tial wastegate 38mm
3inch piping from the downpipe all the way back
Warpspeed performance 3 inch exhaust system w/ Magnaflow exhaust pan
Profec E01 boost controller
Greddy Emanage
Greddy injector harness
Walbro Fuel pump
370 cc injectors using stock FP
Vortech FMU w/4.1 disc
MEVI
Spearco intercooler
Stock MAF w/CAI

oops I forgot the rest of the mods

ACT clutch: street disc and modified pressure plate
fidenza flywheel
quiafe ATB diff
18x8.5 SSR Comp wheels (16lbs) 245/40 18 tires (27lbs a piece)

Word of advise if you have a electronic BC. Dont mess with it on your last dyno run like someone did. Thats how I got 372 lbs of torque. Dont do that. My BC was kicking some rear holding boost very steady until I jacked it all up. :kick: myself for that one. What is so different this time from the other? Last run was a up and down shoot @ 10.2PSI untuned. I adjusted my AFR readings. Got the Greddy Emanage to tune the car and to use that antistall feature in it. Got the Profec since it holds boost a whole lot steadier. Blitz was awesome the installer got too greedy for boost thats why it would spike alot. Never the less it was awesome The profec is similar except it has this giant screen. I installed the Profec E01 properly and it functions properly for the installer. That would be me. Yes reinstalled my stock FPR back on the car and have it up and running. Emanage injector harness is controlling the injectors for me. No need for a JWT ECU or lowering my base FP etc..

Here are my other two runs. To me the best run was the 349HP/338Lbs of torque

My Previous DYNO at 10.2PSI untuned very nasty graph

This was just way out of hand right here. I did not like this zig zag crap.

Vortech SFMU with 2.22 disc inside and adjusted Base FP @ 27PSI, Apexi SAFC, Blitz SBC-ID (hooked up to boost immediately).

Jay, you're running the MEVI without the extended redline? How do you think thats affecting you performance wise?

Yeah, no JWT ECU. Hows it affecting my performance? That question I cant answer since no other TCed maxima owner has an extended rev limiter ECU. Theres only one member but his setup is going to be far different then my. He has non ballbearing turbo and his going down to a .58 AR vs my big .81 AR. I am dropping down to a .69 AR and see what that does for me etc..For now it wont be a good idea as you can see I drop off the power band at 62K. All this turbo stuff is still new to the maxima and no one is running a good setup. We do have 5th gens that are dynoing 410HP plus. But those guys dont even have a extended rev limiter. I am pretty happy with the setup I have. My goal was 350HP and I am there. Once you get more power hungry thats when stuff starts breaking. I just got this low mileage tranny and a quaife and I really dont want to break that. So far is holding up pretty well.

The only opinion I have about the extended rev limiter, on the streets/freeway the car would pull all the way across the power band. I really dont take these numbers to heart. On the street your traveling very fast and the air is just getting sucked into through CAI since air velocity is different. The car feels very strong across every RPM above 38K. I have no plans to modify this car any further. I went from 321HP @ 10 PSI to 350HP and from 260Lbs of torque to 338Lbs of torque @ 9.7PSI. To me thats hell of an improvement with less boost. A gain of 29 HP and 78Lbs of torque and I have this sh!tty MEVI. I like this setup is fine.

Impressive numbers

I'd loved to see some pics under the hood, especailly how he squezed the large T4 turbine in there

Making big power on single digit boost= W I D E power band 3800+, you'll be smoking the guys waiting to spool up to 5k
